Saudi Arabia has officially concluded the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, with over 1.67 million Muslims participating in the annual rites. The announcement was made on Monday by Prince Saud bin Mishaal, Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, who praised the Kingdom’s leadership for overseeing a smooth and incident-free pilgrimage.

According to official data, 1,506,576 pilgrims arrived abroad, while 166,654 were domestic pilgrims, comprising both Saudi citizens and residents. The total number of pilgrims stood at 1,673,230—of which 877,841 were men and 795,389 were women.

Prince Mishaal credited the success of the Hajj season to the operational efficiency of Saudi agencies and the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He noted that the pilgrims completed their rituals in a safe and peaceful environment, with no major health, security, or service-related disruptions reported.

“The smooth execution of the Hajj is a testament to our meticulous planning and the pilgrims’ cooperation with established regulations,” Prince Mishaal stated. He also confirmed that preparations for the 2026 Hajj season will begin immediately, reaffirming the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to serving pilgrims and safeguarding the holy sites
