At least 16 people were injured after Iranian missiles struck a residential building in the Ramat Aviv area of Tel Aviv early Sunday.
This followed two waves of missile attacks from Iran, reportedly in retaliation for US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
According to a statement by the Israeli military “sirens were activated across several regions after missiles launched from Iran were detected. The Israeli Air Force is actively intercepting and neutralizing incoming threats.”
A second wave of missiles was reported 30 minutes later. Air raid alerts were lifted by 8:10 a.m. local time after the situation was brought under control.
