President Bola Tinubu has officially handed over the chairmanship of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government to President Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Leone at the 67th Ordinary Session held at Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
President Tinubu expressed his gratitude, saying,
“It has been a profound honor to lead this esteemed body. I am humbled by the trust you have placed in me as I pass the mantle of leadership to my great friend and brother, His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio, the new ECOWAS chairman. I do so with a deep sense of fulfillment and optimism for the future of West Africa.”
