Former President Donald Trump declared on Thursday that the United States should “take” control of Gaza and turn the area into a “freedom zone,” amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Palestinian region.
Speaking from Qatar, Trump shared his views: “I have ideas for Gaza that I think are very effective. Make it a freedom zone. Let the U.S. get involved and turn it into just a freedom zone,”
He said, adding, “I’d be proud for the United States to take it and make it a freedom zone.”
